I have a confession…
I am a plant-based vegan, a naturopath & nutritionist and I don’t like oatmeal!
I know, right!!!
I have tried so many times to like it, I have tried all types of toppings but I just couldn’t get into it!
Yes, I know the health benefits of eating oats such as blood sugar regulation, lowered blood pressure levels, increasing nitric oxide, soluble fibre (beta-glucan) which aids in lowering total cholesterol & LDL levels, feeding healthy bacteria in the gut & improving immunity. Oats also helps manage your weight, keeping you regular as well as feeling fuller for longer.

Oats are high in Antioxidants, Manganese, Phosphorus, Magnesium, Copper, Iron, Zinc, Folate, Vitamin B1 (thiamin), Vitamin B5 (pantothenic acid) plus much more.. They are truly a SUPER food and I just didn’t like oatmeal!
I used them in homemade crumbing, pancakes, pie bases, bliss balls etc. just not in my daily breakfast routine until NOW Today I created an oat bowl that was delicious, nutritious & so easy to make…
Introducing my Choc-Almond Oat Bowl Delight ! It tastes to me like I remember Yo-Go to taste YUM!

Next creation will be Salted Caramel – Can’t wait!!!!
Do you like Oat Bowls? if so what is your favourite flavour?
